
MY STORY
Hi! I am Zoe, the owner and and creator of Bro Bro Baked Goods. This small business was a project born out of love for baking for my family. In fact, the name Bro Bro, is our nickname for our youngest son. My two sons and my partner have always been my biggest supporters and without them, I wouldn't have pursued my biggest passion. They inspire me daily.

I have always loved food and every aspect of planning, creating, executing, discussing and tasting it as early as I can remember. It certainly helped that my family owned and ran restaurants my whole life. Never thinking baking and cooking was a career option that would be accepted by my family, I ventured down other professions. However, baking kept calling my name and never stopped. I was able to concentrate more on developing some classic pastry techniques after my boys were born and I became a stay-at-home mom in 2015. I won't pretend I was naturally good at it. I remember the times I went from burning box cake mix to throwing my first 13 trials of macarons away to crying on my kitchen floor. But that's what just makes everything sweeter because I see how far I've come and how every failed bake (and there have been many), has evolved my technique and flavours.

Bro Bro Baked Goods started as a daydream and I originally had no intention of making it into a business. As people around me tasted my creations and encouraged my passion, I ventured to farmer's markets where I found more supporters who thought I offered unique and quality products. My business propelled even more after I was casted to compete in Season 10 of Food Network's Spring Baking Championship. Being part of an amazing once-in-a -lifetime experience with my favourite show, made me want to bake more than I ever did before. As a bonus, I was able to meet and learn from my incredible baking competitors, who are now my lifelong friends.

Today, I am extremely proud to say Bro Bro Baked Goods produces from-scratch classic and modern desserts from quality and fresh ingredients. We put passion and love into every project and we are always learning, developing and experimenting in life and in pastry.
